Newborn and Baby Photo Sessions

Newborn Sessions

Newborn sessions are in studio sessions. These are best timed within the first two weeks of baby’s life. I run them on baby’s schedule, taking frequent breaks between shots when mama or baby feels the need. Safety and comfort for both baby and mother are prioritized. We want baby happy, well fed and sleepy. I offer several options for newborn sessions.

Newborn 1  $400

1 hour session includes creative consult prior to session date, 2 setups/backgrounds of baby only, additional poses may include siblings and parents. Gallery of 15 fully edited, high resolution digital images with print and digital usage release included with session fee.

Newborn 2  $550

For newborn 2 sessions, I come to you! These 2 hour sessions include creative consult prior to session date, 2 setups/backgrounds of baby only, additional poses with parents, siblings, pets and family, some lifestyle/documentary shots featuring nursery etc as determined during consult. Gallery of 25 fully edited, high resolution digital images with print/digital usage release included with session fee.

Baby and Toddler Sessions

Individual portrait sessions for babies and toddlers $300

These 1 hr sessions can be scheduled any time in baby’s first year or after. Some parents like to schedule sessions according to age (3 month, 6 month, 9 month, 1st birthday) and others prefer to base the timing on milestones baby has reached such as sitting unsupported, crawling, standing, walking etc. I am happy to work with clients’ preferences. These sessions can take place at the client’s home or a secondary location. They include a creative consultation before the session and a gallery of 15 fully edited, high resolution digital images with release.

*Cake Smash sessions are available for first birthdays! These can be done in conjunction with traditional 1st birthday portraits for an additional fee or as a stand alone session. If desired, cake can be provided.

Baby’s First Year Packages 

Maternity, Newborn and Baby sessions can be purchased together as a package of 3 (or more). You will receive a 25% discount on the total of all sessions when bundled.
